OUR STORY
Born in a salon,
built for real results
Silo Cosmotech was founded with one clear frustration in mind — the professional hair care market in India was flooded with either overpriced imported brands or low-quality local alternatives. Salon owners were forced to choose between quality and affordability. There was no middle ground.
"We wanted to create a brand that a salon in Howrah could be just as proud to use as a salon in Mumbai or Dubai. Quality should not be a luxury."
Starting from a small R&D setup in West Bengal, we spent over two years formulating and testing before launching our first product range. Today, Silo products are used in 1500+ salons across India and exported to the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and Africa.
Every formula we create goes through a 12-parameter quality check. We use soluble keratin, argan oil, 18 herbal extracts, L-Arginine, and Vitamin B6 — because we believe real results come from real ingredients.

2019 Founded in Howrah, West Bengal
Silo Cosmotech is established with a focus on professional hair care R&D. First formulations begin.
2020 First salon partnerships launched
Intense Care Shampoo & Mask range released. First 50 salons across Kolkata and Howrah adopt Silo.
2021 Expanded to 200+ salons across India
Distribution expanded to Delhi, Mumbai, Lucknow, and Hyderabad. White labelling services launched.
2023 Global export begins
Products exported to UAE, Qatar, Malaysia, and Kenya. International distribution network established.
2025. Online store & retail launch
Silo goes direct-to-consumer via silocosmotech.com. Retail packaging launched for home users.
